Always take this medicine exactly as described or as your doctor has told you. Keep this leaflet. 1. What is Harpavit and what is it used for? Harpavit is used as a supportive treatment for signs of wear and tear of the musculoskeletal system. What should you bear in mind before taking Harpavit? Harpavit must not be taken if you are allergic to devil's claw or any of the other ingredients of the medicine, or if you have stomach or duodenal ulcers. Harpavit should not be used in cardiovascular diseases, acute conditions with joint symptoms and gallstone disease. It should also not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. How should Harpavit be taken? The recommended dose for adults is 2 film-coated tablets 2 times a day after meals. The tablets should be taken unchewed with liquid. 4. What are the possible side effects? Possible side effects are allergic reactions, dizziness, headache, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, flatulence and blood sugar increase in insulin-dependent diabetes. If you experience any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist. 5. How should Harpavit be stored? The medicine should be kept away from heat and stored at room temperature.
