The NUROFEN 24-hour pain patch 200 mg contains the following ingredients: 200 mg ibuprofen, glycerol rosinate, hydrogenated, levomenthol, macrogol 20000, macrogol 400, paraffin, thick, pegoterate tissue, pegoterate, silicone-coated, polyisobutene,Polystyrene-block-polyisoprene-block-polystyrene (11:78:11).

Contraindications

The patch should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.It must not be used on mucous membranes, lips, eyes or face.The patch should also not be used if you have hypersensitivity reactions to ibuprofen or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Dosage

The plaster is used for the short-term treatment of local pain after blunt injuries.It should be stuck directly to the painful area.After 24 hours the patch should be replaced with a new one.If there is no improvement after five days of use, you should consult a doctor immediately.The patch is suitable for adults and teenagers aged 16 and over.

Intake

The patch is intended for use on intact skin.The area to be treated should be carefully cleaned and dried before applying the plaster.The patch can be applied at any time during the day or night, but should be replaced with a new patch at the same time the next day.The patch is flexible and adaptable and can also be applied on or next to a joint.It should not be cut, used on injured or diseased skin, covered with another plaster or airtight clothing, and not allowed to get wet.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine if you suffer from asthma or allergies, have a stomach/duodenal ulcer or intestinal, heart, kidney or liver problems, are prone to bleeding or are in the first 6 months of pregnancy or if you are breast-feeding.At the first sign of a skin reaction or allergic reaction, stop use and seek medical attention immediately.Report any unusual abdominal discomfort, especially bleeding, to your doctor.Older patients may experience more side effects.Do not expose the treated area to direct sunlight or artificial UV-radiation during application and for one day after removing the patch.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.The pain patch should not be used in the last 3 months of pregnancy.During the first 6 months of pregnancy it should only be used if absolutely necessary and recommended by your doctor.No harmful effects have been reported when used during breastfeeding.However, as a precautionary measure, you should not apply the patch directly to the chest.
