Directions for use for Macrogol TAD Product properties: Macrogol TAD with citrus flavour is used for the treatment of chronic constipation (constipation). Dosage instructions, method and duration of use: The recommended dosage for adults, adolescents and elderly patients is 1-3 sachets per day. If necessary, the dose may be reduced to 1-2 sachets per day. No dose adjustment is required in patients with impaired renal function. Treatment with macrogol TAD should not normally exceed 2 weeks unless required for severe or intractable constipation. The duration of use should not exceed 4 weeks. Mode of administration: The contents of one sachet should be dissolved in 125 ml of water and then drunk. The drinking solution should be freshly prepared and not mixed with other solutions or beverages so as not to alter the electrolyte concentration. Storage: Macrogol TAD should be stored out of reach of children. Opened or damaged sachets should not be used. Storage temperature should be below 25°C. Composition: 1 sachet contains macrogol 3350 (13.125 g), sodium chloride (0.351 g), sodium hydrogen carbonate (0.179 g), potassium chloride (0.046 g) and sorbitol, acesulfame potassium, flavouring and colouring as other ingredients.
