Area of application

Desloratadine Glenmark is used to relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itching of the roof of the mouth and itchy, red or watery eyes.It is also used to treat urticaria, which manifests itself as itching and hives.The effects last a whole day and help to resume normal everyday activities and improve sleep.

Each tablet contains 5 mg desloratadine as the active ingredient.The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, corn starch, highly dispersed silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to desloratadine, any of the other ingredients or to loratadine.

Dosage

Intake

The tablet should be swallowed whole (unchewed) with water.This medicine is for oral use.
