Directions for use of the product Rennie Fresh chewable tablets: Rennie Fresh is a chewable tablet with an intense fresh mint flavour to bind excess stomach acid. It is used for the symptomatic treatment of heartburn, acid regurgitation and acid-related stomach complaints. The tablets are creamy white, square shaped and embossed with "Rennie®". The chewable tablets can be chewed or sucked. Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take 1-2 tablets as a single dose when symptoms occur. This can be done one hour after meals, before going to bed or in between. It is recommended not to take Rennie Fresh for more than 14 days without interruption and not to take more than 11 tablets per day. It is particularly important to avoid high doses as this can lead to a potentially serious condition called Burnett's syndrome. This syndrome is manifested by symptoms such as headache, nausea, vomiting, muscle weakness, drowsiness, dizziness and confusion. The simultaneous intake of large amounts of calcium-containing products should be avoided. If the symptoms persist or only partially disappear despite taking Rennie Fresh, it is advisable to consult a doctor. The use of Rennie Fresh is contraindicated in case of intolerance to sorbitol or fructose, in children under 12 years of age, in case of kidney problems, an increased calcium level in the blood or urine and a low phosphate level in the blood. Allergic reactions may occur during the use of Rennie Fresh, in which case the intake should be stopped and a doctor consulted. If thiazide diuretics are taken at the same time, a doctor should be consulted before using Rennie Fresh. Rennie Fresh can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but no more than 11 tablets per day should be taken and the simultaneous intake of large amounts of milk or calcium-containing products should be avoided. Rennie Fresh contains calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, sorbitol, maize starch, potato starch, talc, magnesium stearate, liquid paraffin, flavourings, mint flavouring and saccharin sodium, among other ingredients. Each tablet has 1.6 kcal and 0.03 bread units. Rennie Fresh is suitable for diabetics and should be kept out of reach of children. The tablet should be discarded if the packaging is damaged. Rennie Fresh should only be used for oral use and should be stored away from moisture. It must not be used after the expiry date. Rennie Fresh is a sugar-free option for the relief of heartburn and acid-related stomach complaints. It neutralises excess stomach acid and turns it into water and other natural substances. The chewable tablets are well tolerated, can be used during pregnancy and have an intensely fresh mint flavour. They are suitable for diabetics.
