Yarrow herb medicinal tea is a herbal medicine that can be used for various ailments.The active ingredient in this product is yarrow herb, which is used both internally and to prepare sitz baths.

Areas of application

The yarrow herb medicinal tea can help with loss of appetite and digestive disorders such as mild, cramp-like complaints in the gastrointestinal area.In addition, sitz baths with yarrow herb can be used for painful cramping conditions of psycho-vegetative origin in the small pelvis of women (pelvipathia vegetativa).

Content and application

One pack contains 250 g of yarrow herb.For internal use, the tea is prepared as follows: A teaspoonful (approx. 1.5 g) of yarrow herb is poured over with boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and after about 10 to 15 minutes, if necessary, passed through a tea strainer.Unless otherwise prescribed, a cup of the tea infusion is drunk 3 times a day half an hour before meals to stimulate the appetite, or after meals if there are digestive problems.For sitz baths, 100 g of yarrow herb is used in 20 liters of water.

Storage and preservation

Yarrow herb medicinal tea should be stored away from light and moisture.Medicines should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date.

Contraindications and precautions

People with hypersensitivity to yarrow and other composite plants such as arnica, chamomile or marigold should not use the product.There are no sufficient studies on the use of yarrow herb during pregnancy and breastfeeding or in children under 12 years of age.Preparations made from yarrow herb should therefore not be used by this group of people.
