Magnesium-Diasporal 300 mg is a mineral preparation for the treatment and prevention of magnesium deficiency. It contains the active ingredient magnesium citrate and is taken to relieve symptoms such as tremors, muscle cramps, tetany and personality changes. The recommended dose for adults is 1 sachet daily, dissolved in water, juice or tea and drunk whole. People with impaired kidney function should not take magnesium. The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date. The ingredients are magnesium citrate, sucrose, citric acid, sodium hydrogen carbonate, riboflavin and orange flavouring. The medicine has possible side effects such as soft stools, diarrhoea and fatigue. It should not be used if you are allergic to the ingredients, have impaired kidney function, heart conduction disorders or a slow pulse.
