Relieves and calms dry coughs.

The Aspecton® Junior cough suppressant contains a high proportion of irritation-relieving mucilage from Icelandic moss.These natural ingredients form a protective layer on the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract and thus relieve dry coughs.The juice moisturizes and soothes the inflamed respiratory tract mucosa.It is alcohol-free, sugar-free, lactose-free and gluten-free.A practical dosing aid allows you to take the exact dose safely and without spills.

Interactions with other medications, such as other cold medicines or antibiotics, are not known.The cough suppressant is very well tolerated and suitable for children aged one year and over.

Aspecton® Junior cough suppressant relieves irritation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat and soothes dry coughs.

Mode of action

The natural ingredients, so-called mucilage, in Icelandic moss form a protective layer on the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract.The irritation-relieving effect is achieved through the high water-binding power of the Icelandic moss extract.The respiratory tract is protected from external stimuli and the mucous membrane is prevented from drying out.This calming effect relieves painful dry coughs and helps the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat to regenerate.Specially adapted to the needs of children, the junior cough suppressant is free of alcohol and sugar and contains no gluten or lactose.

Aspecton® Junior cough suppressant contains extract from Lichen islandicus (Icelandic moss).

Other ingredients of Aspecton® Junior cough suppressant are potassium sorbate, maltitol solution, citric acid anhydrous, hydroxyethyl cellulose, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate, propylene glycol, sucralose, honey flavor and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.

Dosage

Children and adolescents from 11 to 16 years take 10 ml 3 to 4 times a day, children from 5 to 10 years take 10 ml twice a day and children from 2 to 4 years take 5 ml 1 to 2 times a day.To avoid an overdose, this specified dose should not be exceeded.A dosing aid is included in the pack.
