Summary: Aspecton Junior cough suppressant is a syrup for the treatment of mucous membrane irritation in the mouth and throat associated with a dry, irritating cough. It contains Iceland moss, whose mucilage has a protective effect on the mucous membranes and prevents them from drying out. Junior cough suppressant is alcohol- and sugar-free as well as gluten- and lactose-free. The dosage depends on the age of the child. Side effects such as stomach upsets may occur. The medical product should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. If the symptoms persist for a long time, a doctor should be consulted. The cough suppressant has a shelf life of 6 months after opening the bottle and should be stored at room temperature.
