Instructions for use of the article Movicol trinkfertig Beutel: Movicol ready-to-drink is a product from the group of laxatives and is used for the treatment of acute and chronic constipation in adults, adolescents and elderly patients. It is an oral solvent and is not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Movicol ready-to-drink helps to restore comfortable bowel function, even if you have been suffering from constipation for a long time. The recommended dosage of Movicol ready-to-drink is one sachet per dose. Depending on the severity of the constipation, you can take 1 to 3 sachets per day. Treatment with Movicol ready-to-drink usually lasts about 2 weeks. However, if necessary, you can take the product for a longer period. During long-term treatment, the usual dose is 1 or 2 sachets per day. It is recommended that you drink plenty of fluids while taking Movicol ready to drink. The product can be taken at any time and independently of food intake. You can drink it directly from the sachet without diluting it with water. If the packaging is damaged, the product should not be used. If you have taken a larger amount of Movicol ready to drink than prescribed, this may cause diarrhoea and dehydration. In this case, you should stop taking the product and drink plenty of fluids. If you forget to take it, take the dose as soon as you remember. Movicol ready to drink should be kept out of the reach of children. It should not be used beyond the expiry date and should be stored at temperatures below 30°C. Each 25 ml sachet of Movicol ready to drink contains the active ingredients macrogol 3350, sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen carbonate and potassium chloride. It also contains purified water, sucralose as a sweetener and strawberry/banana flavouring.
