What is MEDCOAT® swallowing aid?

MEDCOAT® Swallowing aid is an innovative product that makes taking tablets and capsules easier.It allows tablets and capsules of any size to be provided with a slippery coating that aids swallowing.The coating also covers the bitter taste of some tablets and replaces it with a pleasant lemon taste.The swallowing aid is particularly helpful for older people who suffer from dry mouth and for children who do not want to take large or bitter-tasting tablets.Thanks to the handy blister pack, the swallowing aid is also ideal for on the go.

Application

To coat a tablet or capsule with the swallowing aid, pull the metal foil completely away from the blister and press the tablet through the yellow cup.After squeezing, gently invert the tablet twice to peel off the film.One bowl is usually enough for one large tablet or two smaller tablets.Then take the medication as usual with liquid.The coating dissolves about a minute after swallowing and does not affect the effectiveness of the tablets.
