Instructions for use of the article Macrogol HEXAL Orange - powder for constipation: Macrogol HEXAL Orange is a laxative for the treatment of acute and chronic constipation in adults, adolescents and elderly patients. It is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age. It helps to achieve comfortable bowel movements, even in long-term constipation. The recommended dosage for adults, adolescents over 12 years of age and elderly patients is 1 sachet per day, the dosage can be increased to 1-3 sachets depending on the severity of constipation. The powder is dissolved in 125 ml of water and the solution can be taken at any time. The duration of treatment is usually 2 weeks and can be repeated. In case of constipation due to illness or medication, the doctor may recommend longer intake. The prepared solution can be stored in the refrigerator and should be used within 24 hours. Macrogol HEXAL Orange should be stored at temperatures below 25 °C. Macrogol HEXAL Orange should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date.
