The Domotherm® S infrared ear thermometer is an electronic device for measuring body temperature in the ear canal.It provides a quick and easy method to determine temperature.The thermometer features advanced infrared technology that allows measurement in just one second.The measured temperature is shown on the display in degrees Celsius (°C) or optionally in degrees Fahrenheit (°F).

The device is not only suitable for measuring body temperature, but can also be used to determine surface temperatures such as baby bottles, bath water or the ambient temperature.It saves the last 12 readings with date and time.A Silent Mode allows you to turn off the beep, which is particularly useful when using the thermometer with sleeping children.The illuminated display changes color when a fever is detected.

The Domotherm® S infrared ear thermometer is equipped with a long-term battery that is sufficient for around 1000 measurements.It switches off automatically to minimize battery consumption.The scope of delivery includes 40 hygienic protective covers, which ensure hygienic use, especially if the thermometer is used by several people in the household.

Dosage

To measure body temperature with the Domotherm® S infrared ear thermometer, you should stretch the ear canal to allow a clear view of the eardrum.For children under one year old, pull the ear straight back.For children over one year old and adults, pull the ear up and back.While gently pulling on the ear, insert the measurement sensor into the ear canal with gentle pressure and press the START-button.Hold the measuring sensor in your ear until the thermometer signals the end of the measuring process with a beep after about a second.The result is shown on the display.Then pull the thermometer out of the ear canal again.
