Allgäuer Latschenkiefer® Pain Cream

The Allgäuer Latschenkiefer® Pain Cream is a herbal medicine that is used externally for rheumatic complaints and muscle pain.It is suitable for adolescents aged 12 and over and adults.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The cream contains the following active ingredients: 625 mg eucalyptus oil, 625 mg peppermint oil and 400 mg rosemary oil.The following excipients are also included: (RS)-2-octyldodecan-1-ol, cetyl palmitate, glycerol stearate citrate, hard fat, fatty acids, mono- and diglycerides, triglycerides, medium chain, wax, bleached, water, purified and xanthan gum.

Area of application

The cream is used to support the treatment of rheumatic complaints and muscle pain.If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 14 days, you should consult a doctor.

Contraindications

The cream must not be used if you are hypersensitive to peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, rosemary oil, cineole, menthol, camphor or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.It is also not suitable for use in small children under 30 months, children with seizure disorders, during breastfeeding, with damaged skin, skin and childhood diseases with exanthema, bronchial asthma, whooping cough, pseudocroup and other respiratory diseases with pronounced hypersensitivity of the respiratory tract.

Dosage

The recommended dose for adolescents aged 12 and over is to apply an approx. 6 cm long strand of cream to the affected areas three to five times a day for adults aged 12 and over.The cream should be applied evenly and massaged in well.The treating doctor decides on the duration of use.It is not recommended to use the medicine continuously for more than 2 weeks.

Intake

Apply an approx. 6 cm long strand of cream to the affected areas and massage the cream in well.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the cream.If you experience joint pain with swelling, redness or fever, you should consult a doctor.Avoid eye contact with unwashed hands after application.Do not apply the cream to injured or irritated skin, the face or mucous membrane areas.Clean your hands thoroughly after use.Avoid using other medicines that contain peppermint oil at the same time.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.There are no sufficient studies on its use during pregnancy, so the cream should not be used during pregnancy.The cream must not be used during breastfeeding.

Notes

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.There are no sufficient studies available for use in children between 30 months and 12 years, so you should not use the cream in children in this age group.
