Summary: Vomex A Travel 50 mg Sublingual Tablets are used for the prevention and treatment of motion sickness in adults and children over 12 years of age. The maximum daily dose is 400 mg. The tablets should be taken sublingually (under the tongue) without chewing or swallowing. The first dose should be taken 30 to 60 minutes before travelling. Side effects may include drowsiness, sedation, dizziness and others. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor or pharmacist before use. People with certain diseases or allergies should not use the product. I always need travel tablets on bus journeys and also as a passenger in the back seat of the car, as I get nauseous after just a few kilometres. The active ingredient of the travel tablets is the same everywhere (dimenhydrinate), but you can put these tablets under your tongue, which is handy if you don't have anything to drink or rinse quickly when you're travelling and can't swallow normal tablets without them, like me. The effect against travel sickness is very good, but they do make you a little tired.
