algovir Effect Cold Spray is a nasal spray that forms a protective film against the penetration of cold viruses and supports the body's natural defences. It contains Carragelose®, a substance extracted from red algae. Carragelose® helps to coat cold viruses and prevent them from sticking to the nasal mucosa. It also forms a moisturising protective film on the mucous membrane that supports the natural defence against viruses. Algovir Effect Cold Spray can be used as a supportive measure for the prevention and treatment of colds with a viral cause. It can also be used to moisten dry nasal mucous membranes. The nasal spray is suitable for adults and children from one year of age and contains no preservatives. It is clinically evaluated and has no decongestant effect. The dosage recommendation is to use at least three sprays in each nostril at the first signs of a cold. The application should be continued until the symptoms subside. In case of fever or persistent symptoms, a doctor should be consulted.
