Application recommendation

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over can take one lozenge every 2 hours as needed, although the daily dose should not exceed 8 tablets.Children between 6 and 12 years of age take one lozenge every 4 hours as needed, with a maximum dose of 4 tablets per day.If symptoms last longer than 3 days or are accompanied by a high fever, a doctor should be consulted.

One tablet of Dolo-Dobendan® lozenges contains 1.4 mg cetylpyridinium chloride-1-water and 10 mg benzocaine.Other ingredients include lime oil, lemon oil, quinoline yellow, indigo carmine, sorbitol, sucrose solution and glucose syrup.

Contraindications

Dolo-Dobendan® lozenges should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.The product is not suitable for children under 6 years.

Dosage

Recommended use of Dolo-Dobendan® lozenges: Children between 6 and 12 years of age take one lozenge every 4 hours as needed (maximum 4 lozenges per day).Children over 12 years of age and adults take one lozenge every 2 hours as needed (maximum 8 lozenges per day).Please note that lozenges are not suitable for children under 6 years of age to avoid accidental swallowing.

Pregnancy

Before taking/using any medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.There is very little experience with the use of benzocaine, one of the active ingredients in this preparation, in pregnant women.Although data from a limited number of pregnant women treated with cetylpyridinium chloride, one of the active ingredients in this preparation, in the first three months do not suggest any adverse effects on the pregnancy or the health of the unborn child or newborn, the potential risk to humans is unknown due to the lack of animal studies.
