Directions for use of the article Zovirax Duo cold sore cream: - Zovirax Duo 50 mg/g / 10 mg/g cream is used to treat early signs and symptoms of herpes blisters on the lips and skin near the lips. - The cream contains the active ingredients aciclovir and hydrocortisone, which can fight the inflammation and stop the herpes viruses from multiplying. - Early application can prevent the formation of cold sores and shorten the healing time. - The cream should be applied at the first signs such as tingling, itching or redness. - It should be applied five times a day at intervals of three to four hours and should not last longer than five days. - The cream should not be applied in the eyes, directly in the mouth or nose and should not be used by children under 12 years of age. - Side effects may include dryness, flaking or burning of the skin. - The cream contains aciclovir, hydrocortisone, cetylstearyl alcohol and propylene glycol, among other ingredients. - Before use, possible contraindications such as allergies or skin infections should be clarified. - The cream should be stored at room temperature and protected from frost. - The product is available only in pharmacies. - For more information, read the package leaflet and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
