Prostacalman® is a homeopathic medicine that is used for bladder infections and urinary problems, especially in the case of an enlarged prostate.This product is available without a prescription.It contains three natural active ingredients: Serenoa repens, Pareira brava and Populus tremuloides.These active ingredients are known to reduce the need to urinate at night, increase urine flow and reduce residual urine in the bladder.

10 Grams, which corresponds to approximately 11.2 milliliters, of Prostacalman® oral drops contain the following active ingredients: Serenoa repens in an amount of 6.0 grams, Pareira brava in an amount of 1.0 grams and Populus tremuloides in a dilution of D2 in an amount of 3.0 grams. One gram of the drops corresponds to approximately 42 drops.The other ingredient is ethanol.

Area of application

Prostacalman® is used for diseases of the urinary organs.These include bladder infections and difficulty urinating caused by an enlarged prostate.The special homeopathic active ingredients in Prostacalman® oral drops help with these complaints.

Mode of action

The homeopathic active ingredients contained in Prostacalman® help with bladder infections and urinary problems, especially with an enlarged prostate.Among other things, they work by reducing the urge to urinate at night, increasing urine flow and reducing residual urine in the bladder.

Dosage

The recommended dose for male adults in acute conditions is five drops every half to an hour, up to a maximum of six times a day.In chronic forms, five drops are taken one to three times a day.The drops are taken in half a glass of water, regardless of meals.Taking it for more than a week should only be done after consulting a doctor or therapist with homeopathic experience.

Contraindications

Prostacalman® must not be taken if you are allergic to salicylates or saw palmetto fruits or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.Even if you have alcoholism, Prostacalman® must not be taken.Children and adolescents under 18 years of age must not take the medicine.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Prostacalman® if you have liver disease, a diagnosed enlargement of the prostate or signs of an enlarged prostate such as difficulty urinating, persistent urge to urinate, feeling of incomplete emptying of the bladder and pain when urinating.Caution should also be exercised when taking certain other medicines at the same time, if you have diseases with an increased tendency to bleeding or before surgical or dental procedures.If you have high blood pressure, your blood pressure should be checked regularly.A medical examination should be carried out before and regularly during treatment.

The active ingredient must not be taken by children and adolescents under 18 years of age.Homeopathic medicines should not be taken for long periods of time without medical advice.Prostacalman® should not be stored above 25 °C and protected from light and moisture.The medicine must no longer be used after the stated expiry date.
