The ingredients of Esberitox® tablets work as follows:

Lebensbaum directly fights cold viruses and activates the so-called T-killer cells, which destroy virus-infected cells.Echinacea also has an antiviral effect, activates the body's own phagocytes and promotes the production of messenger substances that activate other immune cells.This stimulates the production of antibodies and infected cells are detected and switched off.Dye sleeve accelerates and supports the formation of antibodies that bind or mark viruses so that they can be more easily recognized by phagocytes and rendered harmless.

Esberitox® tablets contain the following ingredients:

1 Tablet contains 3.2 mg dry extract (4-9: 1) from a mixture of dyer's pod rhizome, purple coneflower root, pale-colored coneflower root and arborvitae tips and leaves (4.92: 1.85: 1.85: 1).The extractant is ethanol 30% (V/V).

Other ingredients are Betadex, mannitol (Ph. Eur.), glycerol dibehenate (Ph. Eur.), magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) [pflanzlich], saccharin sodium, citric acid monohydrate and lemon flavor (natural).

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, this product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use for Esberitox® tablets:

Children between 4 and 6 years take 1 to 2 tablets 3 times a day.Children aged 7 to 11 take 2 to 3 tablets 3 times a day.Adolescents and adults take 4 to 6 tablets 3 times daily.The tablets taste pleasantly fresh like lemon and can also be chewed.

Start treatment as soon as possible after the first signs of illness appear and continue taking Esberitox® tablets until the symptoms subside.Do not take Esberitox® tablets for more than 10 days without medical advice.

Intake

Please take the medicine morning, afternoon and evening with sufficient liquid, preferably water.The tablets can also be chewed.

Patient information

Particular caution is required when taking Esberitox® if the symptoms become more severe or there is no improvement after a week.In these cases, a doctor should be consulted.Children under 4 years of age should not take this medicine as there are no sufficient studies.

No studies have been conducted on the effects on the ability to drive and use machines.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.

Since the safety of use during pregnancy has not been proven, you should only take this medicine after consulting your doctor.Since it is not known whether the ingredients of the preparation pass into breast milk and lead to undesirable effects in breast-fed babies, as a precaution you should not take this medicine while breast-feeding.

Esberitox® tablets should be kept out of the reach of children.The daily recommended consumption amount should not be exceeded.

Notes

Particular caution is required when taking Esberitox® if the symptoms become more severe or do not improve after a week or if shortness of breath, fever or purulent or bloody sputum occurs.In these cases, a doctor should be consulted.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
