Esberitox tablets for colds are a herbal medicine that was specifically developed to help with viral colds.The active ingredient complex made up of three medicinal plants - tree of life, dyer's pod and coneflower - activates and strengthens the immune system in various areas.This unique immune-active complex helps the body to effectively fight cold viruses and shorten the duration of the cold.Studies have shown that combining these medicinal plants can reduce the duration of colds by up to three days.

Mode of action

The effectiveness of Esberitox tablets for colds is based on the synergistic effect of the three medicinal plants it contains.Each plant helps strengthen the immune system in different ways:

Tree of life: This plant directly fights cold viruses and activates the so-called T-killer cells.These cells are responsible in the immune system for destroying virus-infected cells.

Echinacea: The echinacea also has an antiviral effect and activates the body's own phagocytes.It also promotes the production of messenger substances that activate other immune cells.These immune cells stimulate the production of antibodies that detect and eliminate infected cells to prevent the pathogen from spreading.

Dyer sleeve: The dye sleeve supports the formation of antibodies.These mark viruses so that they can be more easily recognized and rendered harmless by phagocytes called macrophages.

Esberitox tablets for colds contain the following active ingredients and ingredients:

1 Tablet contains 3.2 mg dry extract (4-9: 1) from a mixture of dyer's pod rhizome, purple coneflower root, pale-colored coneflower root and arborvitae tips and leaves (4.92: 1.85: 1.85: 1).The extractant is ethanol 30% (V/V).

Other ingredients are Betadex, mannitol (Ph. Eur.), glycerol dibehenate (Ph. Eur.), magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) [pflanzlich], saccharin sodium, citric acid monohydrate and lemon flavor (natural).

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, this product should not be used.No prescription is required for this product.

Dosage

The recommended use of Esberitox tablets for colds is as follows:

Children between 4 and 6 years take 1 to 2 tablets 3 times a day.Children aged 7 to 11 take 2 to 3 tablets 3 times a day.Adolescents and adults take 4 to 6 tablets 3 times daily.

Treatment should be started as soon as possible after the first signs of illness appear and continued until symptoms subside.The product should not be taken for longer than 10 days without medical advice.

Intake

Please take the medicine morning, afternoon and evening with sufficient liquid, preferably water.The tablets can also be chewed.

Patient information

Particular caution is required when taking Esberitox tablets for colds if the symptoms become more severe or there is no improvement after a week.In these cases, a doctor should be consulted.A doctor should also be consulted if you have shortness of breath, fever or purulent or bloody sputum.

There are no sufficient studies on the use of this medicine in children under 4 years of age.In particular, there is a lack of research into the long-term effects of taking the preparation on the developing immune system in children in this age group.This medicine should therefore not be used in children under 4 years of age.

No studies have been conducted on the effects on the ability to drive and use machines.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.

Since the safety of use during pregnancy has not been proven, you should only take this medicine after consulting your doctor who has carried out a benefit/risk assessment.

Since it is not known whether the ingredients of the preparation pass into breast milk and lead to undesirable effects in breast-fed babies, as a precaution you should not take this medicine while breast-feeding.

Application
