BOMACORIN® 450 mg hawthorn tablets are a herbal medicine that is used to improve impaired heart function.It is particularly suitable for people whose cardiac output is declining, corresponding to stage II according to the classification of the New York Heart Association (NYHA).

The tablets help maintain cardiac performance and improve oxygen supply to the heart muscle.This can help prevent further progression of heart failure.Each film-coated tablet contains 450 mg of hawthorn extract, which contains flavonoids and procyanidins that have positive effects on heart health. Area of application

BOMACORIN® 450 mg hawthorn tablets are used when the heart's performance declines according to stage II according to NYHA (New York Heart Association).

BOMACORIN® 450 mg hawthorn tablets contain the active ingredient dry extract of hawthorn leaves with flowers (4-7:1) in an amount of 450 mg per film-coated tablet.The extractant is ethanol 45% (V/V).The other ingredients include microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, macrogol, magnesium stearate (Ph.Eur.), maltodextrin, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, talc, red iron oxide dye and titanium dioxide dye.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and children over 12 years of age take 1 film-coated tablet twice a day with plenty of liquid.The film-coated tablets are taken whole with meals.It is recommended to take BOMACORIN® 450 mg hawthorn tablets for a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 6 months.The treating doctor should then determine the further duration of use.

Intake

The film-coated tablets are swallowed whole with sufficient liquid, preferably a glass of drinking water.It should not be taken while lying down.

Patient information

Particular caution is required if the symptoms of the disease persist for more than six weeks or if water accumulates in the legs.In such cases, you should consult your doctor.If you have pain in the heart area that can radiate to the arms, upper abdomen or neck area, or if you have difficulty breathing, immediate medical attention is essential.

There are no sufficient studies on the use of this medicine in children under 12 years of age.It should therefore not be taken by children under 12 years of age.

No special precautions are required regarding the ability to drive and use machines.

Pregnancy
