Heparin axicur 30,000 I.U. gel is used for the supportive treatment of acute swelling after blunt injuries (bruises, haematomas). The medicinal product contains the active substance heparin sodium and is applied to the affected skin area. It should be applied thinly and evenly 2 to 3 times a day and must not be used for longer than 10 days. Hands should be washed thoroughly with soap during application. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there are any questions about its use. The gel must not be used if there is an allergy to heparin sodium or if there are open wounds.
