Cefavit B12 chewable tablets are a food supplement with high doses of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue, supports normal energy metabolism and normal functioning of the nervous system and psyche. The recommended intake for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over is one tablet daily, which should be chewed slowly in the mouth and allowed to dissolve. The chewable tablets contain 400 µg (16,000% of the recommended daily intake) of vitamin B12 per tablet. The ingredients include starch (maize), fillers, anti-caking agents, methylcobalamin, cyanocobalamin and flavour. The product is 100% vegan and contains no lactose, fructose, gluten, allergens, gelatine, colouring or yeast. It should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Pregnant women, nursing mothers and children should consult their doctor before taking it. The recommended daily intake stated should not be exceeded as excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. The chewable tablets should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of small children. The product was manufactured in Germany.
