Summary: The medicinal product Macrogol-1A Pharma is a powder for the preparation of an oral solution and is used for the treatment of chronic constipation. It contains the active ingredients macrogol 3350, sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen carbonate and potassium chloride. The medicine works by softening the stool and allowing it to pass more easily. The electrolytes help maintain normal levels of the body's sodium, potassium and water. It is taken by dissolving the powder in water. The recommended dosage for adults, adolescents and elderly patients is one sachet 1-3 times daily. Use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended. The medicine should not be used for longer than 2 weeks unless recommended by a doctor. There are certain contraindications and possible side effects that should be noted. Before use during pregnancy or breast-feeding, it is recommended to consult a doctor or pharmacist. The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children. General warnings and precautions apply. i bought these for my bedridden 86-year-old mother, the care service uses them for my mother's daily care, so far there has been no negative feedback, on the contrary, the care service even tells us that we should only use this variety

My mum suffers from constipation. Her GP has recommended this product so that she doesn't always have to resort to the strongest laxatives. He says it is relatively mild. Everything works wonderfully, we can recommend it.

in the "orange flavour" variant has a disgusting smell and taste. It makes me gag and gives me herpes.
