Ingredients of Macrogol - 1 A Pharma® powder: Macrogol 3350 13.125 g, sodium chloride 0.3507 g, sodium hydrogen carbonate 0.1785 g, potassium chloride 0.0466 g.The other ingredients are highly disperse silicon dioxide, saccharin sodium, orange flavor (orange flavor contains flavorings, maltodextrin, arabic gum, all-rac tocopherol) and lemon-lime flavor (lemon-lime flavor contains flavors, maltodextrin, mannitol [Ph.Eur.], D-glucono-1,5-lactone, sorbitol [Ph.Eur.], Arabic gum, highly dispersed silicon dioxide).

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of Macrogol - 1 A Pharma® powder: In case of constipation, adults, adolescents and older patients should dissolve the contents of one sachet in 125 ml of water 1-3 times a day and drink it.Please note the package leaflet.

Intake

This medicine can be taken at any time and without regard to food.Open the bag and pour the contents into a glass.Add approximately 125 ml of water.Stir until the powder is completely dissolved and the solution is clear or slightly cloudy.Now you can drink the solution.

Patient information

You should continue to drink enough fluids while taking it.The liquid content of the preparation does not replace your regular fluid intake.The preparation has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.

Application

Adults, adolescents aged 12 and over and older patients: Depending on the severity of the constipation, 1 sachet 1 to 3 times a day.Open the bag and pour the contents into a glass.Add 125 ml or half a glass of water.Stir until the powder dissolves and then drink the solution.The solution can also easily be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator (2-8°C) for up to 24 hours.The medicine can be taken at any time and without regard to a meal.

Depending on the severity of the constipation, it may take several days before the first bowel movement occurs.Treatment with Macrogol - 1 A Pharma® usually lasts about 2 weeks.If you don't feel better or feel worse after 14 days, contact your doctor.

If your constipation is caused by an illness such as:B. Parkinson's or multiple sclerosis (MS) or if you are taking medicines that cause constipation, your doctor may recommend that you take Macrogol - 1 A Pharma® for longer than 2 weeks.For long-term treatment the dose can usually be reduced to 1 or 2 sachets per day.

High sodium content.Contains sorbitol.Macrogol - 1 A Pharma® must not be taken by children under 12 years of age.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
