Amorolfine beta 50 mg/ml active nail polish is a broad-spectrum antimycotic for the treatment of nail fungus.The active ingredient amorolfine fights a variety of fungi that can cause nail fungal infections.It penetrates into and under the nail plate, inhibits the growth of fungi and kills them.This fights the fungal infection and improves the appearance of the nails.This product is suitable for the treatment of nail fungus with an infection of up to 80% of the nail, especially in the front area.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The nail polish contains the following active ingredients and auxiliary ingredients:

55.74 mg amorolfine hydrochloride, which corresponds to 50 mg amorolfine.The following excipients are included: ammonium methacrylate copolymer (type A), 483 mg ethanol, ethyl acetate, n-butyl acetate and triacetin.

Application

The nail polish is applied to the affected fingernails or toenails once a week.Treatment should be continued until the diseased nails grow back healthy.Depending on the level of infestation and the speed of nail growth, this can take around 6 months for fingernails and 9 to 12 months for toenails.

Application instructions

Before the first use, the affected parts of the nail surfaces should be filed down with a disposable nail file.Before each further use, the nails should be cleaned with an alcohol swab and any remaining varnish removed.The nail polish is applied to the entire area of the diseased nail with a reusable spatula and allowed to dry for 10 minutes.The spatula should be re-dipped for each nail and cleaned with an alcohol wipe after use.The bottle should be tightly closed after each use.

A nail file used for treatment must not be used on healthy nails.When working with organic solvents, impermeable gloves should be worn to protect the paint layer.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are allergic to amorolfine or any of the other ingredients.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the medicine.Nail polish should not be applied to the skin around the affected nail.Avoid all contact with eyes, ears and mucous membranes.No artificial nails should be used during application.In the case of severe nail fungal disease involving the new nail formation zone, treatment with the preparation alone is not sufficient.

There is currently no experience with use in infants, children and adolescents.This preparation has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.There is only limited experience with the use of nail polish during pregnancy and breastfeeding.This product should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless clearly necessary.
