Levoceti-AbZ 5 mg film-coated tablets are used to treat allergic conditions such as hay fever, year-round allergies such as house dust or pet allergies and chronic hives. The active substance of the medicine is levocetirizine dihydrochloride. There are a few things you should be aware of before using this medicine. Levoceti-AbZ must not be taken if there is an allergy to levocetirizine dihydrochloride, cetirizine, hydroxyzine or any other ingredient of the medicine. The medicinal product should not be taken by persons with severe renal insufficiency. Special care should be taken if there is impaired kidney function, bladder problems, epilepsy or an increased risk of convulsions. Use in children under 6 years of age is not recommended. Caution should be exercised when taking Levoceti-AbZ at the same time as alcohol or other substances that affect the brain. If pregnant or breastfeeding, a doctor should be consulted before use. There is a possibility of side effects such as dry mouth, headache, tiredness and drowsiness. In case of overdose or forgetting to take the medicine, a doctor should be contacted.
