Cetirizine beta is an anti-allergy medicine used to relieve nasal and eye symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and to relieve hives. It contains the active substance cetirizine dihydrochloride. The recommended dose is 10 mg once daily for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age and 5 mg twice daily for children between 6 and 12 years of age. In patients with renal impairment, the dose is adjusted accordingly. The film-coated tablets should be taken unchewed with water.
