Soledum addicur is an anti-inflammatory and expectorant medicine that is used as an additional treatment for chronic and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract. These include, for example, diseases of the sinuses, asthma and COPD. The medicine contains 200 mg of cineole per capsule and is recommended for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. The recommended dose is 1 capsule per intake, maximum 4 capsules per day. In particularly persistent cases, the dose may be increased to 1 capsule 4 times a day. The capsules should be taken unchewed with plenty of liquid, preferably half an hour before meals. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before taking it. Soledum addicur is available in packs of 100 capsules and should be stored in a cool place. There are some contraindications to the use of the medicine, for example hypersensitivity to the ingredients or certain respiratory conditions. Side effects such as gastrointestinal complaints may occur, but are rare. It should be noted that the preparation can change the taste of breast milk. If symptoms persist or recur, a doctor should be consulted.
