Ibu-Lysin AL 400 mg film-coated tablets are intended for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe pain, such as headache, toothache and period pain, and/or fever. The active substance ibuprofen is an analgesic that belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Ibu-Lysine AL also contains the active ingredient lysine, which is supposed to make the painkiller take effect more quickly. The medicine is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years or older and weighing 40 kg or more. The recommended dose is 1 tablet (400 mg) every 6 hours, but not more than 3 tablets in 24 hours. However, treatment should not be given for more than 3 days for fever or 4 days for pain without medical advice. Possible side effects are gastrointestinal complaints, headache and dizziness. Before taking it, check for possible contraindications, such as hypersensitivity to the ingredients, certain medical conditions and pregnancy or breastfeeding.
