Active ingredients and ingredients

The ointment contains 130 mg of cod liver oil and 300 mg of zinc oxide as active ingredients.Excipients include hard paraffin, methyl salicylate, talc, white petroleum jelly, butylated hydroxytoluene, lanolin, lanolin alcohol ointment and cetostearyl alcohol.

Cod liver oil is rich in vitamins A and D and unsaturated fatty acids, which supports skin care and healing.Zinc oxide has an anti-inflammatory effect.

Contraindications

The ointment must not be used if you are allergic to zinc oxide, cod liver oil or any of the other ingredients.

Dosage and application

The ointment should be applied evenly and knife-thickly to the dressing material once or several times a day and placed on the wound area to be treated.The edges of the wound should be covered with a finger's width.For minor injuries, the ointment can also be applied directly to the wound.

Ointment residues around the wound can be removed with surgical spirit or pure vegetable oil.

If you have used more than intended, there have been no reports of overdose.

There are no sufficient studies available for use in infants.Use in children under one year of age is not recommended.

No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant, breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.

The ointment should not be applied to the inflamed breast during breastfeeding.
