Directions for use - UrgoTül Foam Foam wound dressing 15 cm x 20 cm UrgoTül Foam is a foam wound dressing with a microadhesive lipid-colloid matrix developed by Laboratoires Urgo. The dressing consists of a microadhesive TLC-matrix and an absorbent polyurethane foam dressing on a non-woven polyurethane backing. The hydrocolloidal particles of the TLC-matrix form a gel film on contact with wound exudate, which creates a favourable wound healing environment. The dressing can be removed atraumatically and painlessly and protects the skin around the wound. The elastic non-woven backing ensures good adaptation to the wound relief. UrgoTül Foam can be used for the treatment of exuding chronic and acute wounds as well as tumour-induced wounds. The dressing can be used under a compression bandage. Instructions for use: - Cleanse the wound according to the care protocol and rinse with physiological saline solution. - Thoroughly dry the wound area. - Cut UrgoTül Foam to wound size. - Place the microadhesive side on the wound. - Secure with a secondary dressing.
