Instructions for use of the article Mepilex Border Post-Op Foam Dressing Adhesive 9x10 cm: - The Mepilex Border Post-Op Foam Dressing is highly conformable and user-friendly. - It is especially suitable for surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions. - The dressing has an adhesive silicone adhesive layer called Safetac® which minimises pain during dressing changes and does not cause adhesion to the moist wound. - The absorbent pad has Flex technology for added flexibility and is ideal for treating joints such as the hip and knee. - The dressing reduces the risk of post-operative wound infections, supports early patient mobilisation and helps reduce dressing costs. - Applications include exuding acute wounds such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions. - The dressing can be left in place for up to seven days, depending on the condition of the wound and clinical practice. - The size of the dressing is 9 x 10 cm and the absorbency is medium-high. - Available from the mail order pharmacy mainphar.com. - Manufacturer: Mölnlycke Health Care GmbH, Düsseldorf.
