Instructions for use of the article UrgoTül Ag Lite Border wound dressing 8 cm x 8 cm: UrgoTül Ag Lite Border is an absorbent and self-adherent lipid colloid wound dressing impregnated with silver salt. It consists of three layers: a TLC-Ag wound healing matrix made of a polyester mesh, a thin absorbent dressing pad and a white polyurethane backing layer. In contact with the wound exudates, the dressing forms a lipidocolloid film that promotes healing and protects the formation of new tissue. In addition, UrgoTül Ag Lite Border has an antibacterial effect due to the silver ions it contains. The dressing can be used for lightly exuding wounds with signs of local infection. It should be changed every 1 to 3 days and can be used for up to one month. UrgoTül Ag Lite Border is contraindicated in cases of hypersensitivity to silver and other components of the dressing and in patients undergoing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
