UrgoStart Border is a self-adhesive lipidocolloid foam wound dressing used for the treatment of exuding chronic wounds and prolonged acute wounds. It consists of a TLC-NOSF-layer in combination with an absorbent polyurethane foam dressing and a highly absorbent layer. The dressing shortens the healing time, absorbs exudate and provides a moist wound environment that supports the healing process. The dressing is highly conformable, easy to reposition and can be removed painlessly. It has a waterproof silicone adhesive edge.
