IBU-LYSIN ratiopharm 400 mg film-coated tablets are used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe pain such as headache, toothache, period pain as well as fever and pain associated with colds. They can also be used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of the acute headache phase in migraine with or without aura. The medicine is used in children weighing 20 kg or more (from 6 years), adolescents and adults. It contains the active substance ibuprofen in the form of ibuprofen-DL-lysine (1:1). It should be noted that the maximum daily dose for adults is three tablets. For children, the number of individual doses depends on their body weight. The duration of use should not exceed three to four days for migraine headaches or fever. If symptoms do not improve after three to four days, medical advice should be sought. When taking the tablets, they should be taken with sufficient liquid. It is recommended to take them with or after a meal. It is important to note that the medicine is intended for short-term use only. Side effects such as gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dizziness, insomnia and hypersensitivity reactions of the skin may occur. InIBU-LYSIN case of overdose, headache, dizziness, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, drop in blood pressure, drowsiness and breathing disorders may occur. People with hypersensitivity to the i-DL-ngredients, ulcers in the digestive tract, active bleeding, gastrointestinal disorders, blood formation disorders, blood coagulation disorders, high blood pressure, cardiac insufficiency, coronary heart disease, impaired kidney or liver function, inflammatory bowel diseases, circulatory disorders and certain diseases should not use the medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before use. The composition of the film-coated tablets contains ibuprofen-DL-lysine, ibuprofen and other excipients.
