Ibutop 400 mg Pain Relieving Tablets are an anti-inflammatory and analgesic medicine (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory/anti-inflammatory) with the active substance ibuprofen. They are used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe pain such as headache, toothache, period pain and fever. The recommended dosage depends on the patient's body weight and age. The tablets should be taken unchewed with sufficient liquid during or after a meal. If necessary, the intake can be repeated every 6 hours. Adults should not use the medicine for more than 3 days for fever or 4 days for pain without seeking medical advice. In children and adolescents, the maximum duration of use is 3 days. Side effects may occur, especially in the gastrointestinal tract. In case of overdose or other undesirable effects, a doctor should be consulted immediately. The medicinal product should be dosed carefully and used only after consultation with a doctor, especially in children under 6 years of age and elderly people aged 65 years and over. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should also consult a doctor or pharmacist. The medicine should be kept away from heat and children should be kept away.
