Ibutop 400 mg painkilling tablets are an anti-inflammatory and painkilling medicine with the active ingredient ibuprofen. They are used for the short-term treatment of mild to moderately severe pain such as headache, toothache, period pain and fever. The dosage depends on the body weight and age of the patient. Adults should not use the medicine for more than 3 days for fever and no more than 4 days for pain. Children and adolescents should not take the medicine for more than 3 days. If necessary, the same dose as for adults can be used in the elderly. Side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dizziness, tiredness, insomnia, skin rash, nausea and vomiting. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult a doctor before use. When used as directed, the medicine may affect the ability to react. It should not be used together with alcohol.
