Instructions for use of the article "Mometasone ratiopharm hay fever spray". Mometasone ratiopharm hay fever spray is used for the symptomatic treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults (aged 18 years and over). It contains the active ingredient mometasone furoate, which can relieve inflammation and symptoms such as sneezing, itching and a blocked or runny nose. It is important to note that this medicine is only for adults who have already been diagnosed with seasonal allergic rhinitis by a doctor. Before you start using it, please read the leaflet carefully and follow the instructions given by your doctor or pharmacist. The recommended dosage is two sprays into each nostril once a day. The full effect of the treatment can only be observed after a few days, so it is important to use the medicine regularly. There are some cases in which Mometasone ratiopharm hay fever spray should not be used, e.g. if you are allergic to mometasone furoate or any of the other ingredients of the medicine, if you have untreated infections in the nose or after recent nasal surgery or injury. You should also consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have tuberculosis, other infections, cystic fibrosis or other corticosteroid-containing medicines. Like any medicinal product, Mometasone ratiopharm hay fever spray can cause side effects. Immediate hypersensitivity reactions are possible and require medical attention.
