Directions for use Bromhexin Hermes Arzneimittel 12 mg tablets: - This medicine contains the active substance bromhexine hydrochloride and is used for the expectorant treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the bronchi and lungs with thick mucus. - The recommended dose for adults and adolescents over 14 years of age is 1 tablet 3 times a day. - The tablets should be taken after meals with plenty of liquid. - In children under 14 years of age, medicines with a lower active substance content should be used. - The duration of use depends on the type and severity of the disease and should be decided by the doctor. - In the event of an overdose, no additional signs of illness are usually to be expected.
