ASS 500 acetylsalicylic acid 500 mg tablets are an analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory medicine. They are used to treat mild to moderately severe pain and fever. The recommended dosage for children aged 6-14 years is 1/2-1 tablet, for adolescents and adults 1-2 tablets, each taken 1-3 times a day at intervals of 4-8 hours and after meals. Care should be taken not to exceed the total dose. The medicine may cause gastrointestinal discomfort, allergic reactions and other side effects. It should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, ulcers in the digestive tract, increased bleeding tendency and certain other diseases. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor or pharmacist. Prolonged use should be avoided and intake should not be continued for more than 3-4 days without medical advice.
