Dobendan® Direct lozenges to relieve sore throats

Dobendan® Direkt are pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory lozenges with a honey-lemon flavor.The active ingredient flurbiprofen provides up to 4 hours of relief from sore throats, which are often caused by inflammation of the throat mucosa.This inflammation can lead to redness, swelling and difficulty swallowing.Flurbiprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), penetrates deep into the inflamed tissue and develops its pain-relieving effect after just 13 minutes.In addition, the anti-inflammatory effect helps to reduce the swelling of the mucous membranes and thus relieve swallowing difficulties without anesthesia.

Dobendan® Direct is particularly suitable when local anesthetics and antiseptics are not enough to provide quick and long-lasting relief from a sore throat.The lozenges are suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over and do not contain antibiotics or alcohol.The pleasant honey-lemon taste makes it easier to take.

Areas of application

Dobendan® Direct lozenges are used for short-term symptomatic treatment of painful inflammation of the throat mucosa in adults and children aged 12 and over.They not only relieve the sore throat, but also inhibit the underlying inflammation of the mucous membranes and counteract the swelling.The effects begin within 15-30 minutes and last up to 3 hours.The pleasant taste of lemon and honey has a relaxing effect.

Each tablet of Dobendan® direct lozenges contains 8.75 mg flurbiprofen.Other ingredients include macrogol 300, potassium hydroxide, lemon flavor, levomenthol, honey, glucose syrup and sucrose water (67:33).

Application recommendation

Adults and children over 12 years of age can take one lozenge every 3-6 hours if necessary.The tablet should be allowed to slowly dissolve in the mouth.The maximum daily dose is 5 tablets and should not be exceeded.Dobendan® Direct lozenges should not be used for longer than 3 days without medical advice.

Contraindications

Dobendan® direct lozenges should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to one of the ingredients, if you regularly take ASS 100 mg or are allergic to ASS and related painkillers, if you have known or acute kidney, heart or liver failure, if you have a stomach ulcer or bleeding in the gastrointestinal area, if you have blood clotting disorders, if you are taking other painkillers at the same time, in the first three months of pregnancy and in children under 12 years of age.

Patient information

Take special care when using it if you have ever had asthma, have a bacterial infection, have kidney or liver problems, have heart problems, have had a stroke or think you are at increased risk of these conditions, have high blood pressure, have a chronic autoimmune disease, have regular headaches or have serious skin conditions.Use may be associated with a slightly increased risk of heart attack or stroke.Do not exceed the recommended dose or treatment duration of 3 days.The medicine should not affect your ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy

The medicine can impair fertility in women, this effect is reversible after stopping the medicine.The medicine is unlikely to affect your ability to become pregnant when used occasionally.Do not use this medicine if you are in the last 3 months of your pregnancy.If you are in the first 6 months of your pregnancy or are breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before using this medicine.
