Active ingredients

Thanks to the two active ingredients acetylsalicylic acid (500 mg) and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (30 mg), the Aspirin® Complex granulate sticks provide direct relief from cold-related symptoms.Acetylsalicylic acid inhibits the production of fever-, pain- and anti-inflammatory substances: This combats cold pain (including headaches, sore throats and body aches) and fever.Thanks to the proven combination with pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, the sticks also work reliably against a cold.The active ingredient has a vasoconstricting effect and causes the nasal mucous membranes, including the paranasal sinuses, to decrease in swelling.

Other ingredients of the direct granulate are isomalt, mannitol, citric acid, sucralose, acesulfame potassium, flavor aroma corrector (contains maltodextrin, acacia, natural and artificial flavors, medium-chain triglycerides), orange flavor (contains maltodextrin, natural and artificial flavors, modified tapioca starch, all-rac-α-tocopherol, benzyl alcohol) andLemon flavor (contains maltodextrin, natural and artificial flavors, all-rac-α-tocopherol).

The direct granules reliably combat cold symptoms such as fever, headaches, sore throats and body aches.It also has anti-inflammatory properties and reduces swelling in the nose and sinuses.A noticeable effect begins after just 15 minutes and lasts for up to 6 hours.The medication should be taken directly, without first dissolving it in water.This brings the well-known active ingredient combination of acetylsalicylic acid and pseudoephedrine into a modern dosage form - without any unpleasant pill swallowing.You should then drink water straight away.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the recommended single dose for adults and adolescents aged 16 and over is one to two sachets.Two sticks at once make sense, especially if you have severe symptoms at the beginning of a cold.When the symptoms subside, you should reduce the dose again.Depending on your needs, you can repeat the intake after four to eight hours.Please note, however, that you consume a maximum of six granulate sticks per day. Put the white-yellowish granules directly into your mouth and swallow them as soon as they have dissolved in saliva.If possible, drink some water afterwards.Seek medical advice if symptoms do not improve after three days.

Intake

The granules are intended to be taken directly into the mouth.The granules dissolve in saliva and are then swallowed.After taking it, you should drink water straight away.

Contraindications

Notes

Do not take the medicine if you suffer from previous illnesses described in the package leaflet, have intolerance to an ingredient or are taking medications with potential interactions listed in the package leaflet.In addition, the cold product must not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.The direct granules may potentially reduce your ability to react.Do not drink alcohol in combination with the medicine, as this can further increase the reduced ability to react.Store the sticks below 25 degrees Celsius and out of the reach of children.After the expiry date, you may no longer use the direct granulate.
