Desloratadine TAD 5 mg film-coated tablets are used to treat allergic rhinitis (e.g. hay fever) and hives. The active ingredient desloratadine helps to reduce allergy-related symptoms such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itching of the palate and itchy, red or watery eyes. Desloratadine TAD is a modern antihistamine that works quickly and causes little drowsiness. It is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. The dosage is one tablet once a day, regardless of the meal. The duration of treatment depends on the type and duration of the symptoms and is determined by the doctor. Desloratadine TAD is well tolerated, but may cause side effects such as dry mouth, headache and fatigue. The medicinal product should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients.
