Centaura® tick and insect repellent spray

The Centaura® tick and insect repellent spray is a repellent for external use on horses, dogs and people.It provides reliable protection against various insects and ticks.The spray has an innovative air spray system without propellants and a 360° spray function.

Area of application

For humans, Centaura® offers protection against insects.Applied evenly to the skin, it protects against mosquitoes for up to 8 hours, biting flies for up to 5 hours and ticks for up to 4 hours.It is approved for children aged 24 months and over.For horses and dogs, it protects against stinging and non-stinging insects for up to 24 hours and against ticks for up to 4 hours.The protective effect occurs immediately.

The active ingredient of the Centaura® spray is Saltidin® (Icaridin) with a proportion of 20% (200 g/kg).

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

The product should be distributed evenly over the skin or fur.Contact with lips, wounds or irritated skin should be avoided.The spray must not be used on horses that are used to produce food.The spray can be applied by hand to the animal's head area.

Notes

The spray should only be used in well-ventilated areas.It must not be applied to damaged areas of skin, under clothing, saddle or collar or directly to the face.Contact with eyes and mucous membranes should be avoided and the spray should not be inhaled.No prescription is required for this product.

The spray is extremely flammable and the container is pressurized.It may burst if heated and cause serious eye irritation.It must be kept out of the reach of children.The container should be kept away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition.Do not smoke or spray on open flames or other sources of ignition.The container must not be punctured or burned, even after use.Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 50°C.
