Instructions for use of the product Centaura tick and insect protection: All-round protection for humans, horses and dogs. The product offers protection against ticks and flying, biting or stinging insects. The active ingredient Saltidin® is very well tolerated and works immediately for several hours. The spray has a pleasant scent and contains no propellant. It can be applied to the areas to be protected until the skin or coat is slightly damp. In the head area, the spray should be applied by hand. Note, however, that it should not be sprayed on damaged skin areas, under clothing, saddles or collars or directly on the face. Eye and mucous membrane contact and inhalation of the spray mist should be avoided. The product is approved for humans from 24 months of age and provides up to 8 hours of protection against mosquitoes, up to 5 hours of protection against biting flies and up to 4 hours of protection against ticks. The product is also suitable for horses and provides up to 24 hours of protection against biting and non-biting insects and up to 4 hours of protection against ticks. For dogs, Centaura provides protection against ticks, mosquitoes and biting flies for up to 8 hours. It should be used when walking, hunting, during dog races, agility activities and outdoor shows. It is important to read the instructions for use and follow the product instructions as these are biocidal products. The spray is extremely flammable and is under pressure. It must not get into the hands of children and should not be used near open flames or other sources of ignition. It should be protected from sunlight and temperatures above 50°C should be avoided. The product contains hexyl salicylate, which may cause allergic reactions. Always read the label and product information before use. The registration numbers of the product are N-36646 and N-42542.
