Desderman 78.2 G/100 G solution for use on the skin is a dye- and perfume-free alcoholic rub that is used for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection.It offers reliable protection against infections all year round.The product is characterized by a broad spectrum of activity, which also includes a virucidal effect according to EN 14476.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The solution contains the following active ingredients and ingredients: 100 grams of the solution contains 78.2 grams of ethanol 96% (v/v), which corresponds to 73.4 grams of ethanol 100% (v/v).The preparation also contains butan-2-one, isopropyl myristate (Ph.Eur.), (hexadecyl/octadecyl) (2-ethylhexanoate), povidone K 30, sorbitol solution 70% (crystallizing) (Ph.Eur.), 2-propanol (Ph.Eur.) and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage and application

For hygienic hand disinfection (EN 13727 + EN 1500), it is sufficient to rub a sufficient amount of the solution into dry hands for 30 seconds.When using surgical hand disinfection (EN 13727 + EN 12791), a sufficient amount should be massaged into dry hands and forearms for 90 seconds.

Patient information

The product is intended for external use only and must not get into the eyes.In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children as it is highly flammable and must not come into contact with open flames or switched on heat sources.Once opened, the container should not be used for longer than 18 months, but not beyond the expiry date.When used in dispenser systems, the dispenser manufacturer's shelf life instructions must be observed.

Notes

The product is used undiluted.During the exposure time for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection, the hands or hands and forearms must remain well moistened throughout the entire application period.
