Deltamedica's sodium chloride solution 0.9% is a potassium-free solution that consists of 0.9% sodium chloride.It is used as a carrier solution for various electrolyte concentrates and compatible medications.

Areas of application

This solution is used for fluid and electrolyte replacement in hypochloremic alkalosis and chloride losses.It can also be used for short-term intravascular volume replacement in hypotonic or isotonic dehydration.

Ingredients

The injection solution contains the following active ingredients: 1000 ml contains 9.0 g of sodium chloride.The other ingredient included is water for injection purposes.

Electrolytes per 1 ml of the solution: 0.154 ml sodium (Na+) and 0.154 ml chloride (Cl-).
