Effectiveness

There is a separate, device-specific clinical study with the bite away® thermal bite healer, in which the significant itching relief from mosquito bites was confirmed just one minute after treatment.A real-life application observation also showed that itching and pain from insect bites can usually be sustainably relieved with just one application (Müller et al. 2011).

Dosage

The ceramic contact surface of bite away® is placed on the bite or sting.After just pressing one of the two buttons (3 seconds for the initial treatment and for people with sensitive skin or 5 seconds for regular use), a temperature of approximately 51°C is reached and maintained for the selected time.The short application time and the built-in 3-stage safety features make damage to the skin almost impossible.One or two treatments are usually enough to provide lasting relief from symptoms.However, application should be limited to five times per hour in the same place, with at least a 2-minute break in between.

How is bite away® used?

First, the device is placed on the mosquito bite.It is then activated and then you can relax.
