Echinacea drops Salus is a traditional herbal medicine that is used for the short-term prevention of colds.This medicine is registered for this area of application due to many years of use.It is suitable for adults and teenagers aged 12 and over.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

100 ml (96.35 g) of the liquid of Echinacea drops Salus contains 100 ml extract of pale echinacea root (DEV 1: 3.5 - 6.5).Ethanol 96% (V/V) and liqueur wine (1:1.5) are used as extractants.The liqueur wine is made with the addition of sulfur dioxide.

Application and dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.If you are unsure, ask.Shake well before use.

Adults and young people aged 12 and over take 1 to 1.5 ml 3 times a day in a measuring cup after eating with a little liquid, preferably drinking water.There is a graduated measuring cup in the pack that can be used to measure the dose.Make sure to empty the measuring cup completely and rinse with liquid if necessary.

The application is not intended for children under 12 years.There are no specific dosage recommendations for patients with liver and/or kidney dysfunction.The medicine should not be taken for longer than 10 days.

Contraindications and information

Echinacea drops must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to echinacea, other composite plants or any of the other ingredients.Store drug out of reach of children.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.Do not store above 25°C.The shelf life after opening is 3 months.
